PAC Running 

​PAC Running is Victoria’s leading junior and youth running squad, focused on developing fast, strong, and confident athletes in a supportive team environment. We offer structured training for athletes aged 9–18, from school runners to national-level competitors. Each session blends technique, speed, and endurance with a strong focus on fun, teamwork, and progression. Our experienced coaches provide detailed run programming, event preparation, and guidance on pacing, race strategy, and recovery. With a reputation for producing State and National champions and creating a positive squad culture, PAC Running helps every athlete run smarter, race stronger, and enjoy the journey.

Our Run Squads

At PAC Running, we’ve created four distinct squads to ensure every athlete trains at the right level for their age, experience, and goals.
Our structured squad system helps prevent overtraining and burnout by tailoring sessions to suit each athlete’s stage of development. Younger athletes focus on movement, skills, and enjoyment, while older and more experienced runners progress to advanced training that builds strength, endurance, and race performance.

This approach means every athlete — from first-time racers to national representatives — can train safely, develop at their own pace, and stay motivated within a supportive team environment.

Perfomance 

Ages: 12+ (2025)
Level: National-level athletes or those targeting national qualification.
Focus: High-performance training tailored to advanced junior runners. Sessions target race-specific development, tactics, and performance under pressure.

Pathway

Ages: 11+
Level: State-level athletes or those progressing toward state qualification.
Focus: Building strength, endurance, and race confidence. Emphasis on consistency, technique, and bridging the gap to national performance standards.

Foundation

Ages: 9+
Level: Emerging athletes competing at school, district, or regional level.
Focus: Skill development, learning how to train and race, and fostering a love of running in a fun and supportive environment.

Speed

Ages: All ages
Level: Open to athletes focusing on sprint distances (100 m–400 m).
Focus: Sprint mechanics, acceleration, and explosive speed. Ideal for runners and athletes from other sports wanting to improve speed and power.

Sessions

PAC Running sessions are designed to develop well-rounded junior athletes with a focus on middle-distance performance. Each session is engaging, challenging, and fun, helping athletes improve their technique, speed, and endurance while building confidence and enjoyment in running.

Locations

Running sessions do change from term to term, our main three running venues are Collingwood Athletics Track, Ford Park - Ivanhoe, and Yarra Bend Park.
