Nick Haddon
Head Coach | Peak Athlete Coaching
Nick Haddon is a passionate coach and educator with over 20 years of experience helping young athletes reach their potential. His athlete-centred approach focuses on developing movement, confidence, and performance across all sports — not just one.
As a qualified teacher and Head of Sport, Nick has guided hundreds of students from the playground to the podium.
His athletes have achieved success at:
-
School Sport Victoria State Championships in 1500m, 800m, 200m, hurdles, long jump, triple jump, and high jump.
-
Athletics Victoria Championships in middle-distance events including 800m, 1500m, and 3000m.
-

Nick’s coaching extends well beyond the track. He has led school teams to state titles in tee-ball, cricket, and hockey, and to state championships in basketball, AFL, soccer, softball, and netball — demonstrating his ability to build athletic performance across a wide range of sports.
As an athlete himself, Nick has competed in high-performance environments in basketball, hockey, and middle-distance running. This firsthand experience gives him a deep understanding of the physical and mental skills young athletes need to grow, adapt, and perform.
Currently, Nick serves as the Team Vic SSV Head Coach for Triathlon and Aquathlon, working with Victoria’s best junior athletes at a national level. He is an accredited Athletics Australia and Triathlon Australia coach, combining technical expertise with a genuine passion for athlete development.

At the heart of every PAC program is Nick’s belief that great athletes are built from strong foundations — skill, strength, movement, and mindset.
